THE BRAND
Bags Handmade 4U is a small 2 person business located in Southern California. We focus on making high quality products designed to meet our customers' needs and desires. We select high quality materials and purchase in small quantities so that our items are unique. We don't mass produce any of our products; you won't see them in stores, and likely will never see anyone else carrying the same item made of the same fabrics. Every item is carefully handmade in our home workshops.
THE MAKERS
Kathy and Cheryl have been sewing together for over 30 years. We have made quilts, fabric landscape wall hangings, clothing, and more. But when we first made handbags, we fell in love with the process and the products and purchased industrial sewing machines. The choice of fabrics--faux leather, vinyl, and real leather--makes bag making an exciting craft. Add to that the hardware choices and design possibilities and it is truly a fun adventure.
Once you have a closet full of handmade bags and you want to keep making them, what do you do? You create Bags Handmade 4 U. We love making and customizing all sorts of bags and accessories for our customers. That's it, just the two of us making bags for you, our customer.
